Hollywood icon and esteemed movie star Robert Swan has died at the age of 78, it has been reported.
A pal of The Untouchables star confirmed to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter that the actor died after battling liver cancer. Reports elsewhere also claim that the veteran actor’s death was also announced on social media by his friend Betty Hoeffner.
In the post shared on Facebook by Betty, she revealed that Robert “died peacefully in his sleep at 5:47 a.m., August 9th, in his Rolling Prairie, IN [Indiana] home after a long battle with cancer.”
