You need something sturdy to scrape the layers of grime off, so an old gift card or membership card is just the ticket. Brandon recommended spraying the area with a "heavy duty degreaser" before going in with the plastic card to scrape it away. "Depending on how dirty they are you don't always have to do the scraping," the cleaning whizz said. But if yours has a lot of buildup the trick will definitely speed to whole process up.
