The Prince and Princess of Wales’s three children have already begun enjoying their summer holiday. Their kids were moved schools from London to Berkshire last year when the family moved to live in Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate . Prince George , Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louis are all thought to have a jam-packed schedule before they go back to their studies in September, and they have already made a start. Millions of children across the UK have not yet begun their holiday and still have another week of school to get through. But term ended for the Waleses’ three children at Lambrook School on July 8 following a momentous few months for the Royal Family. As the three kids are at a £20,000 a year fee-paying school, they have already started their summer and will be returning to their desks on September 6th. Schools in England and Wales will finish on or around Friday, July 21, this year. Although, it seems the royal children’s holiday activities will be very different from other children their age . On Friday, Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, took all three to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. George, who will be turning ten later this month, Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Louis looked at a C-17 transporter aircraft as part of the tour, the vehicle used to carry their great grandmother’s coffin in the days before her funeral last year. The youngsters will not solely be partaking in public engagements this summer as they will also be having some holidays in private with it being likely that the Prince and Princess of Wales are hoping to unwind after a busy few months with the Coronation and Trooping the Colour. William and Kate with the children at Trooping the Colour (Image: Getty) Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! : “As for what the three youngsters could be getting up to… there are so many options. If they don’t go abroad then it will probably be the usual mix of Norfolk and Windsor life, full of outdoor play, sports and various fun activities. “William and Catherine have had a very busy time with the Coronation and their new responsibilities as Prince and Princess of Wales, and probably feel they are due a bit of rest and relaxation… not that is generally much of an option with three young children!” In previous years, they have enjoyed unwinding on the exclusive island of Tresco, part of the Isles of Scilly. The car-free island, owned by William as part of the Duchy of Cornwall but leased to Robert and Lucy Dorrien-Smith, has been described as Cornwall’s answer to the Caribbean. When there, the Waleses kept a low profile as holidaymakers said: ‘We hardly noticed at first as they seemed a normal family on holiday intent on keeping themselves to themselves.” Much like summers in years gone by, the youngsters will be heading to Balmoral Castle to spend time with the Royal Family. Although their grandfather has extended the period that the Firm’s Scottish haven is open to the public so it is likely that they will not be going there until after August 16.
