The new mum who won a £3.5m mansion for £10

Becca Pott was 32, on maternity leave after the birth of her first child and living in a two-bedroom flat in Leyton, east London when she spent £10 on tickets for a property prize draw.

She won a £3.5 million five-bedroom house near Ascot, Berkshire in February last year, and now lives there with her husband, Ben, their baby, Ava, and their cats Winston Purchill and Leonardo DiCatrio.

But she is one of the few to live in the house that she won in the Omaze competition.

While most people dream of taking a morning swim in an infinity pool before eating breakfast on the cliff top terrace if they won a Grand Designs-style mansion, it turns out that they actually don’t do that.
