The Crown has been filming Princess Diana’s car being chased by paparazzi in Paris, France, for season 6, new photos show.
Although season 5 of the Netflix drama is set for release on November 9 this year, the cast and crew are already working on the next chapter, which will portray the events running up to the late royal’s death in a car crash, with Elizabeth Debicki playing Lady Spencer.
Princess Diana died in August 1997 in hospital after being injured in the fatal accident in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris. She was 36.
Her partner, Dodi Fayed, and the driver of the Mercedes-Benz W140, Henri Paul, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A Netflix spokesperson has previously said the exact moment of the crash impact will not be shown, and new pictures show her car being chased by paparazzi in the final moments before the fatal tragedy.
