Fans have been left slamming its broadcaster Netflix over its release date suggesting it has made binge-watching the series impossible. Netflix debuted all the new episodes of the show today, Wednesday November 9, resulting in a mid-week season launch, much to the dismay of many fans, who argued the show should have launched on a Friday. Arguing that being released mid-week meant that they would have to wait to watch the show for a few days as a result of work commitments, fans took to Twitter to air their anger and disappointment over the streaming giant's 'big mistake'. One disgruntled fan said: "Why does the crown have to come out on the Wednesday and when i need to leave for school." Another wrote: "WHY are Netflix releasing season 5 of the crown on a Wednesday, how am I supposed to binge watch when I have to work." A third shared: "The Crown dropping midweek is a BIG MISTAKE."
