Fans were shocked at Angus and his comments to his fellow players however after he made a series of shocking suggestions. After Vickie built up an impressive £6,000 in the cash builder round, Anne offered her a higher option of £26,000 or a lower offer of a dismal £1,000. In spite of her accomplished efforts, Angus suggested to Vickie she take the lower minus offer, horrifying fans at home and host Bradley. One fan raged at the Newcastle native: "WTF, Angus?! We haven't even started!" Another added: "Angus way too enthusiastic about low offers for my liking." While a third said: "Low enabler klaxon!" After then advising fellow player Julie to do the same, it came as no surprise that the contestant chose to go low himself - this time taking money AWAY from the prize pot with a minus offer. Reacting negatively to his decisions, one fan seethed: "No one should ever be taking the minus figure..." A second agrreed, saying: "Angus has advised all 3 team mates to take the minus offer and also taken it himself .. what's the point of coming on!" It wasn't the only fan fury, the care home worker managed to stir up during the competition as some more of his actions also left a sour taste in the mouths of fans.
