A masked teenager who stabbed a maths teacher in a school corridor has been sentenced to 14 months in youth detention.
The boy, 15, wounded Jamie Sansom at Tewkesbury Academy in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, on July 10 this year.
The school was locked down for four hours after the attack, with two nearby schools also asked to close as a ‘precaution’.
The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, put on a snood and a hooded top to cover his face and armed himself with a six-inch kitchen knife from home.
