And with Christmas just around the corner it couldn't have come at a better time. Savings have been found at dozens of big Tesco Extra stores, from Newcastle to Sussex. These include: Cheshunt, Wirral, Chichester, North Shields, and Bar Hill. We have asked Tesco for the exact number of stores seeing the reductions and will update this story when we hear back. Shoppers have been saving hundreds of pounds, with the largest saving appearing to be 80%. Posting on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK they have been sharing pictures of their receipts to highlight how many bargains they bagged. One parent said: "Tesco bargains. Was £169 paid £43. "Bidston store Wirral had alot left of most things I got. "Hot wheel dune monster was a massive bargain was £25 now £6.25. This was last on the shelf." Another wrote: "Loads of reduced toys in Tesco today I spent around £210 on toys but full price they would of been over £700." One mum posted: "I know a lot of people are posting Tesco reduced toys. "These were my bargains today that I've not seen posted yet, mechanic's set £6.50, cry babies £3.20. "Also noticed Funko Pop Harry Potter set of four for £12.50 which I'm sure is a bargain." Another wrote: "Tesco toy clearance. This lot was RRP £170 and I paid £42.50. "This was North Shields store." The largest saving on an individual toy we found was a mum who managed to grab a Roblox set for £5, reduced from £25 - a saving of 80%.
