However, not all of the series' new viewers are happy with the reboot. They took to social media to give their verdicts. "Netflix did me dirty by recreating the Teletubbies and making it my daughter's recommended viewing," said one viewer. Another said: "Nah will never be the og [original] teletubbies." "Teletubbies on Netflix? Gives a new meaning on Netflix and chill," said another. One fan seriously was upset and posted: "Ok I'm actually upset by the lack of faithfulness to the original. Like Netflix how did you manage to make Teletubbies boring. Why did you take out the educational parts of it? Why do the sunkids just look like floating heads? Could y'all not afford better vfx?" But not everyone was unhappy and the show was given a warm welcome back. "Netflix showing Teletubbies on the top of my home feed is the best gift this children's day," said one fan.
