A teenager who died while allegedly fleeing police after a fireworks incident on Bonfire Night has been named as 17-year-old Qais Muhammad Ratyal.
Officers descended on a residential road in Halifax, West Yorkshire, following reports of youths ‘hurling’ fireworks.
Qais is believed to have ran from the scene before jumping over a fence into a back garden, where he fatally cut himself by crashing through a greenhouse.
He was rushed to hospital but could not be saved, YorkshireLive reports.
