The message was loud and clear from the signs on the gate which read "NO TRESPASSING". It's said the woman was arrested and charged with one misdemeanour count of trespassing. TMZ reports she was released from custody shortly after, but is due to return to court on July 14. It's not clear who called the police but it's say private security of the star failed in their attempts to get the woman to leave the property. It's also unclear if Taylor was at the home at the time of the incident. It's thought she had been there for the holiday weekend, though. The Shake It Off singer, 33, posted a delayed message to mark the special occasion. Taking to Twitter she shared a number of snaps as she celebrated with pals.
