An important and timely victory for Wales. It was not pretty and not always particularly accurate, but there was a distinct increase in physicality and aggression from last weekend’s poor showing against New Zealand and, in truth, Wales controlled the game for long enough periods to deserve the win, scoring two tries in the process.
Taulupe Faletau (on his birthday he was an obvious man of the match), Justin Tipuric, Tomos Williams and George North were all outstanding for Wales, while Louis Rees-Zammit was lively and Nick Tompkins got across the gain line often enough.
But Argentina were disappointing. They continued their habit of following a famous victory with a rather flat performance. They were handicapped by the shorter turnaround, having beaten England last Sunday,
