 Mark Owen and his wife have had a pretty grim week. The 51-year-old Shine singer and his energy coach wife Emma Owen lost their adopted kitten in the middle of the night. Taking to social media, Emma recounted how they'd endured a 'shocking 24 hours' which has left them 'heartbroken' earlier this week. Emma, who has been married to Mark since 2009, revealed: 'We've had a pretty shocking 24 hours over here and I know all of you have been messaging me for updates on the kittens but we're a little bit heartbroken.' The influencer explained how she went to feed them at 3am, but the kittens 'didn't look so good' and seemed 'limp'. 'They were quite limp, and they were dying,' she said, before adding that she'd given CPR her best effort, which ended up being fruitless as one later died. 'They started breathing again, we rushed them to urgent care at the vets, my little 11 year old in tow. 'They didn't make it, and so the other two weren't looking too good the next day and we've taken them back to the rescue centre to be checked on and looked after because we're heartbroken here. 'It has been a really shocking experience and I'm still processing, so I don't have anything smart or wise or positive to say,' she added. 'I just need a bit of time to get my head around what's happened.' Emma admitted this is 'all part of fostering' and that you 'never know' what you're going to get, but she admits that all they could have done was give it their all and hope for the best.
