Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray has once again praised Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo and has likened the youngster to Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott – who he also managed.

Amad had struggled during the early weeks and months of his loan with the Black Cats, but the arrival of Mowbray has slowly brought more opportunities and he has started the last three Championship matches on the spin.
He netted his first goal for the club two weeks ago against league leaders Burnley and on Wednesday night he played an integral role in securing three points away to Huddersfield – Sunderland’s first win in four matches.
