The transport and travel industries have felt the impact of strikes over the past year, with millions facing disruption whether trying to get to work, attend an event or go on holiday.
Unions have warned train strikes could drag on for as long as five years as negotiations between unions and rail companies remain deadlocked, with RMT union boss Mick Lynch accusing the government of prolonging the strikes for political reasons.
And they’re not the only ones heading out on strike, as an overtime ban threatens to bring more travel disruption, while airport strikes in parts of the UK could also lead to delays for holidaymakers.
