Suella Braverman admits sending six government emails to her personal phone

Suella Braverman has admitted to sending government emails to her personal phone.

The Home Secretary apologised for the breach in a letter to Dame Diana Johnson, the chairman of the home affairs select committee.

The full letter relates to issues around her resignation on October 19.

Braverman resigned after she sent a draft written ministerial statement to the employee of a backbench MP.

She was forced to leave office by Liz Truss after the leak came to light, before being reappointed by Rishi Sunak six days later.
