Strictly Come Dancing’s Les Dennis suffers brutal blow ahead of competition next month

TV legend Les Dennis has been tipped as the first contestant to be booted from Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the competition’s start date next month as he’s up against the likes of favourites Bobby Brazier and Zara McDermott

Last week, Strictly Come Dancing bosses confirmed Les Dennis will be testing out his dance moves as the 15th and final contestant for the 2023 series, which returns next month on BBC One.

However, ahead of the show’s long-awaited start date, TV legend Les, 69, has already been dealt a huge blow as bookies are predicting that he could be the first contestant booted out of the new series as the likes of EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and Love Island’s Zara McDermott top the poll.

Speaking to The Mirror, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Bobby Brazier has stormed into favourite spot in this year’s Strictly betting after a flurry of interest from punters. Les Dennis will take to the dancefloor as the rank outsider to go all the way, if he’s up there come the end of the series, I’ll give you the money myself.”

Former Coronation Street star Les is ranked at a Les Dennis 33/1 chance of winning the show, while EastEnders star Bobby, comes in at 7/2.
