The full lineup for the next series of the competitive dance show has now been announced after Family Fortune stars Les Dennis was revealed as the final celebrity to be taking part. Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to the ballroom alongside Dave Arch and his incredible band – who will be providing the soundtrack to the fabulous routines. The BBC has promised that the 2023 season will provide 'unforgettable group routines, world-class music acts, theme weeks and of course the much-anticipated annual trip to the iconic and much loved Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.' So, just when might Strictly be back on our screens? Here is what we know so far. When could Strictly Come Dancing 2023 start? As of now, there has yet to be a confirmed air date for the start of series 21 of Strictly. However, based on previous years' start dates, the series usually begins in September, so it could likely start on Saturday, 9 September or Saturday, 16 September 2023. Last year, the season aired in late September. However, this was due to the show being pushed back because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Strictly 'It Takes Two' will also be returning to our screens and will see Fleur East joining as a new co-presenter alongside Janette Manrara, who will return for a third series. When it comes to the main show, we do know that there will be no change to the judging lineup for this series, which will include the 'acid-tongued adjudicator' Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse (Let's Dance Germany judge), former pro-dancer turned judge Anton Du Beke, and 'The Queen of Latin', Shirley Ballas, who will once again return as head judge.
