Street Fighter 6’s newest collab is with none other than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who are taking over the game’s Battle Hub for the foreseeable future.
Street Fighter 6 headlined EVO 2023 with an incredible final set which saw UAE’s AngryBird take the top place in the 7000+ player bracket, triumphing over Red Bull Kumite 2023 champion â and the reigning Capcom Cup champion â the Dominican Republic’s MenaRD. MenaRD managed to reset the bracket after rising through the losers bracket and taking down heavy hitters such as Punk and three time EVO champion Tokido, but came up short, with AngryBird taking the set 3-1.
It’s tradition for new fighting game reveals to be shown off at EVO, while other games like Tekken, Guilty Gear, and Mortal Kombat 1 had brand new character reveals, Capcom kicked things off with an unconventional announcement.
