NBA icon Stephen Curry is one of the greatest players of all time, and the point guard has named a fellow basketball icon he wished he had the chance to play alongside
Steph Curry revealed the basketball Hall of Famer he would have liked to have played alongside is Shaquille O’Neal.
The four-time NBA champion has played with some phenomenal players throughout his illustrious career. In an interview with Complex Sports, the point guard answered some rapid fire questions when he mentioned he would have liked to play alongside the former LA Lakers and Miami Heat star. “Probably Shaq,” Curry said. “Just to see that dominance up close in person.”
O’Neal is one of the best players in NBA history and arguably the best big man to ever play the game. The 15-time all-star averaged 23.7 points and 10.9 rebounds over the course of a career spanning 19 years. He went on to win four titles, three with the Lakers alongside the late great Kobe Bryant, and his final title came with a young Dwayne Wade at the Miami Heat in 2006.
Curry also has four titles, with the most recent championship coming in 2022 against the Boston Celtics. The two-time league MVP is hungry for another championship and is certainly enjoying his offseason before preparations begin for next season.
