So, if you're keen to get around faster and leave some of those sterile, rocky wastelands behind you, the Boost Pack will help you do just that – plus you can learn to damage enemies' packs in combat, too. Some gamers feel the pack helps make up for the lack of land-based vehicles, and feels a bit like having your own mini-spaceship. Trouble is, many players are having trouble finding where to get the Starfield Boost Pack. Here's what you need to know. How to get Starfield Boost Pack First of all, you need to reach Level 2, although that won't take too long. Next, you need to spend a skill point on the Boost Pack Training Skill and unlock it in the Skill Tree. The Boost Pack is easy to use and if you gain enough skill, you can hover(Picture: Rafael Henrique/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images) You then need to get a backpack that has boosters equipped – as an example, in an early quest you'll be given the Constellation Pack when you reach The Lodge in Jemison. You can boost at any time by pressing the jump button (Y on Xbox consoles, or the space bar on PC) while in mid-air. This powers up the boost pack thrusters – but remember, this only works once you've spent a skill point and are equipped with an appropriate backpack.
