Sophie is requesting the "immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained". She insisted that the now separated family had previously intended to make England their "forever home" prior to the divorce. Although Sophie did not directly accuse Joe of abducting the children, the petition does reference the word "abducted" periodically as part of the legal terminology.
