Snow is set to fall this weekend and next week as winter hits the UK, with more rain and flooding expected.
Hilly parts of the north of Scotland could see snow fall as early as Saturday, with more expected next week.
The temperature is also set to plummet from Sunday, with lows of 5°C and highs of just 9°C in London.
There will also be ‘widespread’ frost across rural areas.
