Sergeant Keith Bennet and PC Chris Turton searched for a motorbike thief hiding in a wood in the dead of night. And after reports came in of a man loitering in gardens in Birmingham , the team quickly found out not everything was as it seemed. However, the situations featured on the show left many Channel 4 viewers underwhelmed. Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Wow yet again the criminals on tonights #SkyCoppers get away with their crimes twitterbuds." Another moaned: "It never really got going this week. All promise and build up with no action." A third added: "Seems like the #skycoppers are just there to catch aerial footage for the TV. The guys on the ground are doing all the work." Others were even harsher, with one raging: "Biggest load of s*** police programme. And I love police programmes. "Police c**king around with drones. S*** content, plus a waste of resources. Get some civilians to operate them and have the police do real work!" A fellow viewer was equally furious, writing: "All these #Cop #TV programmes - #SkyCoppers etc are really GOOD for ONE THING!
