The presenters of Sunday Brunch were forced to issue an apology after guest Alastair Campbell swore live on TV.

The journalist, who previously worked as the Prime Minister’s official spokesperson when Tony Blair was in Number 10 Downing Street, appeared on the Channel 4 show to talk about his new book, titled But What Can I Do?: Why Politics Has Gone So Wrong, and How You Can Help Fix It.

The episode on Sunday July 9 marked Simon Rimmer’s return to the programme following the heartbreaking death of his dad Pete, who he described as his ‘hero’ in his tribute.
