Outspoken pundit Simon Jordan returned to his daily talkSPORT show on Tuesday morning and updated listeners as to why he’d been absent from the station for a number of weeks
Simon Jordan has revealed on talkSPORT that he’s recovering from surgery after being diagnosed with prostrate cancer.
The outspoken pundit has been absent from the station for a number of weeks, leading listeners to question his long-term role on the popular White and Jordan show. However, the ex-Crystal Palace owner returned to the airwaves on Tuesday morning to clarify matters.
And he candidly shared details of his diagnosis, admitting he only got tested after a chance conversation with a friend. He’s since undergone a “significant” procedure, and now has vowed to help raise awareness of the condition.
“I’ve been in the wars a little bit,” he said, after being welcomed back by co-host White. “And it might be appropriate to address that as there’s a moderately important message. I’m recovering from cancer, prostrate cancer, and I’ve had some quite significant surgery two weeks ago.”
