Lidl shoppers have been left utterly enchanted by ‘Lidl bear’, the teddy turned celebrity in the supermarket’s new Christmas ad, and ‘can’t believe’ it’s not available to buy
It’s Christmas ad time once again, and shoppers have been left feeling particularly warm and fuzzy inside thanks to one adorable festive character. Lidl’s ‘Lidl Bear’ is a cute and cuddly teddy who, in the advert, ends up getting separated from his owner after reaching dizzying heights of stardom.
Thankfully, Lidl Bear and the little girl who missed him so much during his time chasing fame and fortune are reunited once more on Christmas Day, much to their mutual delight. It’s certainly a very cute advert, but many viewers have been left completely amazed that Lidl Bear isn’t actually available to buy in real life.
Commenting under the sweet ad, which was shared by Lidl this weekend, one eager customer pleaded: “Although the bear isn’t on sale now, maybe because there is so much interest you could produce one, sell them and all of the money could go to your toy bankâ¦â¦â¦please.”
Another urged: “Come on Lidl. You need to create and sell the bears. Everyone will go crazy for them.”
