But rather than paying out the £54 price tag, he managed to get his hands on it for the hugely discounted price of just £13.50 - meaning a whopping £40.50 saving. And what's more is he got the £10 pillow cases to match - all for the reduced price of just £2.50. Alongside the image, he penned: "Bedding reduced to clear at Tesco - duvet and pillowcases." And John wasn't the only one to snap up a bargain...another delighted shopper hurried online to show off her discounted goods. "Duvet sets, sheets and pillow cases in grey and white!" she penned.
