That's because shoppers have been going wild after spotting the popular choice of candle hugely discounted in their local supermarket stores. Amongst them is Lucy Whitmore, who took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of the shelves in her nearest branch. They can be seen filled with medium-sized jars in a variety of different scents - from raspberry and cherry to lavender. Alongside the image, she penned: "My Tesco currently have medium Yankee Candles reduced from £20 to £5 loads to choose from in my local store." The post has racked up hundreds of likes and comments, with many rushing to stores to try and get their hands on the mega discounted candles. "Great Christmas present," wrote one. A second penned: "I bought some of these just 2 days ago from Tesco. "Thought I had a good deal at £8 each. "I should have held off a couple of days!"
