She wrote: ‘Just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure.’This time double epidural. W worsening pain went for a SECOND OPINION.’I have a large fibroid tumor that must come out.’Ladies in particular: Don’t get blown off. GET A SECOND OPINION. It can save your life.’I’ll be down for 4-6 weeks for full recovery.’Thx for your care. It’s all good.’ (sic)According to the NHS, fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb.Many are unaware they have fibroids because they don’t cause any symptoms. However, in rare cases they can cause serious problems.Some can suffer with pain in their abdomen or lower back, as well as painful periods and discomfort during sex. They can also cause infertility in some cases and complications during pregnancy.After Sharon shared her news on social media, many took to the comments to wish her a speedy recovery.
