The Shanghai Disney Resort visitors have been left trapped inside the happiest place on Earth after a single Covid-19 case was recorded.
The gates of the theme park in Chuansha New Town, Pudong, were locked shut yesterday to everyone unless they can show a negative test.
As part of China’s strict coronavirus policy, stay-at-home orders and mandatory testing notices have been issued to Shanghai residents.
It comes after a Covid-positive woman, 31, visited the Disney resort and prompted a snap lockdown.
The Disney resort, which includes Disneyland and shopping districts, announced shortly after 11.30am it was closing in compliance with Covid-19 regulations.
