NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
As far as coming-of-age teen dramas go, few – if any – have been as ground-breaking as Sex Education.
Filmed in Wales with a Hollywood budget, Sex Education very swiftly broke out from being the hot new TV show for young adults, to becoming a must-watch for everybody navigating the world through a post #MeToo lens.
Following Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey), the pair became unqualified, but impressive sex therapists for their classmates, inspired by Otis’s mother (Gillian Anderson) – a professional sex therapist.
It was pretty extraordinary, but when season four was released, I couldn’t share in the same excitement as other Sex Education fans – not after the last series.
