Smallville star Allison Mack has been seen for first time since being let out of jail early after her imprisonment for her role in a sex-trafficking cult
After serving 14 months of her three-year prison sentence, Allison Mack was released 14 months early on good behaviour.
The Smallville star had pleaded guilty to to her role in the sex-trafficking cult, NXVIM. She has now been spotted for the first time since her release.
On her trip out and about in the Los Angeles area, she was seen by her parents’ side wearing a casual outfit. A simple white long sleeve shirt paired with black trousers hide an ankle monitor; Mack is still serving an additional three years of supervised release. In comparison, she originally was facing 17 years in prison for racketeering and conspiracy to commit extortion and forced labor charges.
Mack had cut a deal to get that lower sentence. Evidence supplied by Mack helped, in part, in the conviction of the cult leader, Keith Raniere. He was sentenced to 120 years in prison for sex-trafficking through his organisation NXVIM. As part of the membership in the group, some individuals were branded, starved, and made to perform sexual favours.
