Police were shocked to find mutilated remains in a rubbish bin near a bank after a person spotted a leg protruding from a giant red bin, prompting an investigation
On Wednesday morning, a person walking past a bank spotted something straight out of a horror movie – a human leg protruding from a giant rubbish bin.
The NYPD was called to the TD Bank at 164th Street and Union Turnpike in Hillcrest, New York, after a witness discovered the mutilated remains. The leg was sticking out from a giant red container in the bank’s parking lot, according to police. There’s not much information as of yet, but an investigation has been launched.
This comes just weeks after police found another body in a garbage bag in the borough just a few months ago. A passerby reportedly spotted blood leaking from a white bag covered by a blanket on the sidewalk in North Corona, a neighbourhood in Queens, New York.
