Secret Invasion has been full of twists and turns from the start, after the threat of Skrull extremists on Earth forced Nick Fury (Samuel L Johnson) to return from space to face the danger head-on. A cruel twist in episode 4 of the series has left fans furious and devastated beyond belief, with some even calling on Marvel Studios' big boss Kevin Feige to answer for the tragedy. In his fight against rebel Supreme Leader Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir), Fury was previously reunited with his old Skrull ally Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who in turn enlisted the help of his daughter G'iah (Emilia Clarke), as she put her life at risk to work as a double agent. In the latest episode, Fury and Talos chase after Gravik when they discover that he is going to target the US President (Dermot Mulroney), after Fury was able to track down the Skrull impersonating Rhodey (Don Cheadle). After the President is attacked by Gravik's troops and left unconscious in an upturned vehicle, Talos tries to use his Skrull strength to break the window, when he is shot in the shoulder. Gravik has been gunning for Talos since the start (Picture: Courtesy of Marvel Studios) Fury manages to get the President out of the car, and a soldier helps Talos – who is now starting to shapeshift back into his own skin – to his feet. However, Fury suddenly realises that something is amiss with the soldier… and he's right, as the man is revealed to be Gravik, who stabs Talos in the heart without a blink of hesitation. This doesn't look like an injury that Talos can recover from, as Fury is forced to flee with the President in his car. What makes matters even worse is that the last time Talos saw his daughter G'iah for a heart to heart about the future he hoped their people could have on Earth, their conversation ended in an extremely frosty manner, with G'iah walking awa){kind=link}
