Peter Kay has said that he filmed his comeback tour announcement video on a budget and explained that it took just ten minutes for him to record with a friend.
The comedian, 49, announced his first live stand-up tour in more than a decade over the weekend, with the news having caught fans by surprise on Sunday evening.
The Better Late Than Never tour was unveiled through a TV advert which aired during I’m a Celebrity. It featured him delivering a carpet to his mum and telling a ‘fan’ – played by one of his friends – that he’s going on tour next month.
Peter said that him and a friend filmed it on their phones in Bolton. His friend filmed the footage, while the comedian recorded his audio by having a phone in his pants.
