 'I mean it did obviously, because I had to go through treatment but I would hate to think I'm a different person now.' Taking the positive from her experience she said: 'I'm probably a lot less nervous of cancer now because it was like the big bad wolf and now I'm like you just deal with it'. She also praised the development in treatment, and predicted 'in 40 years' time it really will be nothing'. Her husband Graham, 50, and four sons Billy, 18, Charlie, 16, Rafferty, 14, and 12-year-old Laurie, have all been immensely supportive of Sarah. Sarah Beeny has revealed she feels incredibly ‘lucky’ after finishing cancer treatment.
The 51-year-old presenter was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and has been treated with a double mastectomy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to huge success. In April of this year, she shared the happy news that she had been given the all-clear from the disease.
Today, she appeared on BBC Breakfast looking radiant with short blonde hair and gave viewers a further update.
