Sanderson Lam’s small changes have brought big results as huge wins keep coming

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Sanderson Lam scored one of the biggest wins of his career on Monday as he knocked Neil Robertson out of the English Open, continuing his sparkling form so far this season.

The 29-year-old has been on and off the main tour since first turning professional in 2015 but this season he appears to have found a new level of performance and consistency.

Beating former world champion Robertson 4-2 in Brentwood on Monday was the best win of the campaign so far, but there have been plenty to choose from, yet to lose a first round match in any event and fast climbing the rankings.

The Yorkshireman has not reinvented his game to garner greater results, but has changed a number of small things in his practice routine and wider life to improve his chances. Changes that are clearly working.
