Europe dominated on day one of the Ryder Cup after taking a commanding 6.5-1.5 lead, and there is no doubt Luke Donald and co will be out to add to that tally today
Team Europe secured the spoils on day one of the 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone, following a dominant display from Rory McIlroy and co.
The home team flew out the traps on Friday morning, winning all four foursome matches in session to remember for Luke Donald’s team. The U.S. looked to bounce back in the afternoon fourballs, but Europe thwarted the threat to lead 6.5-1.5 following the end of play.
Day two is now upon us and the home time will be out for more of the same, as they hunt down the title they lost in Wisconsin two years ago.
