Russia pundit urges Putin to draft Ukrainian children for Kyiv attacks

Vladimir Putin’s forces are suffering yet another setback in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, with troops retreating from the front lines in anticipation of a further push eastwards by Ukraine. Kremlin-supporting TV presenters are now trying to come up with plans to keep the Ukrainian region, which they deem to be Russian land after Putin annexed it to the Russian Federation. One of them says they should conscript Ukrainian children who live in the area.Journalist Vladimir Karpov told Russian-state TV channel HTB: “Look, about the people who remain on the territories that are now under the Russian Federation, Russian territory. “What would I do? First I would form cells by finding like-minded people. One way or another, like-minded people will surface. “You can always reach them through acquaintances. “That’s first; secondly: I would involve the children through games, especially if they are ideologically charged up.” Vladimir Karpov said Russian should recruit Ukrainian children to fight in the war (Image: TWITTER/@JuliaDavisNews) Vladimir Karpov says Russian should enrol indoctrinated Ukrainian children to fight against Ukraine (Image: TWITTER/@JuliaDavisNews)The Russian pundit said they should tout it to children as “an excellent opportunity”, adding, “we’re organising the underground.”The Russian TV presenter added: “Plus the money.”Karpov said: “Yes, if we also fund it. Plus to that, a man is a social animal. It’s important for him to get approval from somewhere. “If he’s getting praised and financially supported, then everything comes together.”READ MORE: Sunak issues stark four-word warning to Putin’s key ally Lavrov Igor Shatrov said he is stunned Russian forces haven’t indoctrinated local populations (Image: TWITTER/@JuliaDavisNews) Russian pundits discussed plans to retake Ukrainian territories (Image: TWITTER/@JuliaDavisNews)As for adults, the Russian pundit said: “We’ll work with them for decades to come in order to convince them that it’s better to be with the Russian Federation than with Ukraine. “Only in that case the likelihood is that 80 percent will accept it, but there’s always 10-15 percent that will vehemently reject it. “Igor Shatrov, an expert at the Strategic Development Council, is stunned the Russian army has failed to indoctrinate the local populations in the Ukrainian regions.”Where are our partisans in the Kharkiv region and in the Mykolaiv regions?
