Wilson has had an extremely difficult season since the Broncos traded a haul to the Seattle Seahawks in order to acquire him and has been routinely criticised for his performances
Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has bizarrely claimed that he spent four of the eight hours in the aeroplane from Denver to London working out down the aisles whilst his teammates were asleep.
The Broncos travel to the British capital ahead of this weekend’s final NFL London game of the season when they’ll face the Jacksonville Jaguars in a must win game if they are to keep up with the pack in the race for a play-offs in a stacked AFC.
The Broncos have a 2-4 record and have been one of the worst offenses in the NFL, with Wilson struggling to recapture his form he showed with the Seattle Seahawks for the last nine seasons.
Wilson missed last weekend’s loss to the New York Jets, after struggling with a hamstring tear which could even keep him out of this weekend’s game against the Jaguars.
