Russell Wilson showed off his custom Liverpool FC trainers as the star quarterback warmed up ahead of the Denver Broncos’ clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
Before the match on Sunday, Wilson was awarded a Liverpool home shirt with âWilson 3′ emblazoned on the back. In a video clip, the 30-year-old revealed how he has a special connection with the iconic Merseyside club.
Wilson pointed out that he actually got married to wife Ciara – the pop singer and songwriter – in the city. In order to secure his fandom and celebrate his connection with the city, Liverpool FC sent the family a few shirts while sorting out Wilson’s unique cleats.
