Russell Brand issued a new video last night claiming that moves to demonetise his content on social media platforms have occurred “in the context of the Online Safety Bill”.
It was his second video statement relating to the allegations made against him last weekend of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.
The actor and comedian urged people to watch him on the streaming site Rumble, which has criticised the chair of a parliamentary committee for writing a letter asking it to suspend Brand from receiving advertising revenue on its platform.

Brand has more than 1.4 million followers on Rumble and used the platform to post his pre-emptive denial video after being approached about the allegations
