RuPaul will be absent from Drag Race for the first time ever, with Michelle Visage instead taking on head judge duties.
The iconic drag queen will miss the seventh episode of the UK edition of the reality TV series due to ‘circumstances beyond anyone’s control.’
It marks the first time the 61-year-old has missed an episode, after appearing in 14 seasons of Drag Race in the US and four seasons of Drag Race UK, as well as three seasons of the Australian edition.
Michelle announced the news in a clip posted on Twitter, which heard a voiceover boom: ‘For the first time in Drag Race herstory, the judges have taken control.’
