A teenager who was missing for eight years was ‘held captive’ by his mum and forced to listen to a ‘happy family life’ on the other side of his door.
Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Farias said he developed Stockholm Syndrome whilst locked inside the house by his abusive mum, Janie Santana, who reported him missing in 2015.
He emerged this month bloodied and bruised in a church in Texas.
The now 25-year-old told Fox26Houston he was ‘brainwashed and manipulated’ and suffered severe emotional abuse at the hands of Santana.
