Royals warned Harry’s ‘nuclear’ memoir is ‘critical of everyone and everything’

The Royal Family is bracing itself for Prince Harry’s ‘nuclear’ memoir amid fears it will be ‘critical of everyone and everything’ after details of its release were revealed.

The 416-page book, titled Spare, was billed by publisher Penguin Random House as a work of ‘raw, unflinching honesty’.

Relatives were not given a heads-up on the title – a reference to the phrase the ‘the heir and the spare’ – in advance of Thursday’s announcement, with a source telling the Daily Mail it will be seen as both ‘controversial’ and ‘provocative’.

It was expected to come out this autumn but will now hit bookshelves on January 10.

There had been speculation to date was pushed back as a mark of respect following the death of the Queen, and to give Harry time to make changes and remove potentially damaging material.
