Natasha Inman says she had no symptoms but had four masses found in her ovaries. She was diagnosed with cancer and faced gruelling chemotherapy rounds
A woman has been diagnosed with cancer after a routine health check found she had cysts in her ovaries totalling the size of a six-month-old foetus.
Natasha Inman says she had no symptoms before her annual health check with her GP, aside from being slightly bloated, but when she was examined they found a mass in her ovaries.
Scans and tests confirmed her worst fears – she had four cysts on her ovaries totalling 40cm – the size of a 30-week foetus.
Natasha, 33, from Leeds but now living in Dubai, said: “When the doctor told me, I was in shock and didn’t believe it. I’d had no symptoms, I was just a bit bloated, but I never would have gone to the doctors about it – it wasn’t affecting my life very much.
