Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the verge of leaving Manchester United after criticising the Premier League club in an interview with Piers Morgan
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly interested in joining David Beckham’s Inter Miami, as the fallout from his sensational interview with Piers Morgan continues.
Ronaldo, 37, has left his Manchester United future in doubt after launching a scathing attack on the club’s owners the Glazers and manager Erik ten Hag. He’s also criticised their appointment of ex-boss Ralf Rangnick and club legends Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney.
United are waiting for the full interview to be released on Wednesday and Thursday before they decide what action to take. Some critics have urged them to sack Ronaldo, while others believe they should let him leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
According to The Sun, Miami owner Beckham wants to lure Ronaldo to Florida ahead of the 2023 MLS campaign. Miami are one of the most ambitious clubs in the United States, as they are also believed to be interested in the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
