Manchester United have been linked with a move for Everton star Amadou Onana with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag still keen to add to his midfield options before the end of the transfer window
Former Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku played a key role in Red Devils’ target Amadou Onana’s original move to the Premier League.
United have been linked with a swoop for the Everton midfielder before the end of the transfer window. It has been reported that talks are already underway for a deal for Onana.
A move looks somewhat tricky though. The Toffees are not keen on selling and have put a £50m price tag on him to ward off any interest, particularly after signing him for £33m from French side Lille just last summer. Speaking after his initial arrival at Goodison Park, the Belgian revealed that he had held discussions with former Man United and Everton striker Lukaku, who convinced his compatriot to move to England.
“I know it [Everton] is a big, big club,” Onana revealed. “I know about the rivalry between Everton and Liverpool and I have heard about it from Rom [Lukaku].
